Our event is associated with a high standard of quality in terms of service before, during and after the race. “As things stand today, we can no longer offer many of these services,” emphasize the organizers. Extreme athletes can choose from four different distances with varying levels of difficulty. The South Tyrol Ultra Skyrace, one of the most demanding and technically difficult extreme mountain races in the world, is 121 kilometers long. On the legendary horseshoe tour in the heart of the Sarntal Alps, experienced mountain participants have to climb 7554 meters in altitude. The South Tyrol Skyrace measures just over half of the “royal distance” (69 km/3930 hm), while the South Tyrol Sky Marathon for mountain runners covers a distance of 42,2 km and 2863 hm. For less experienced athletes, however, the South Tyrol Sky Trail is suitable, as the route is 27 km long and has around 1000 m of elevation gain.
