Bayern dismantle BVB and set course for the title

In the 100th Bundesliga duel with Borussia Dortmund, the record champions showed their best game of the season and took the previous league leaders apart at times with a score of 5-0 (4-0). The Munich team now have a point lead over BVB with six match days before the end of the season - in this condition they are unlikely to miss their seventh championship in a row.

The outstanding Mats Hummels opened a Munich spectacle early (10th), which was reminiscent of the 6-0 at the same place from the previous season. Against the hesitant, sometimes overwhelmed and defenseless Dortmund team, Robert Lewandowski (17th) scored his 200th goal in the Bundesliga, then Javi Martinez (41st) and Serge Gnabry (43rd) took advantage of the numerous inadequacies of BVB's insecure defense . Dortmund seemed almost apathetic - and made hair-raising mistakes like Lewandowski's goal: Dan-Axel Zagadou lost the ball to the Pole, who elegantly lobbed the ball past goalkeeper Roman Bürki. Lewandowski reached the 200-goal mark and now has 201 goals - only Gerd Müller (365), Klaus Fischer (268), Jupp Heynckes (220) and Manni Burgsmüller (213) have scored more often in the Bundesliga.

The consistently convincing Munich team then took a breather for a few minutes without the Dortmund team, who were now very intimidated, being able to do any damage.
