Victory in the northern derby against Bremen: “96” almost out of the relegation battle

The flood of defeats stopped, relegation almost assured: With a 2:1 (2:0) in the Bundesliga northern derby against Werder Bremen, Hannover 96 has now almost said goodbye to the relegation battle, now nine points ahead of relegation place 16. For twelfth-placed Bremen, however, a series of five games without defeat ended.
