After the double championship, the FC Bayern footballers presented themselves in lederhosen and dirndls in front of thousands of fans dressed in red and white on the Munich City Hall balcony.

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, who, like CEO Oliver Kahn, has to leave the German record champions at the end of the season, was also present at the final ceremony one day after the men won the title in the Bundesliga long-distance duel with Borussia Dortmund with a 2-1 win against 1. FC Cologne. While the goalkeeper legend and the FCB contradicted each other on Sunday, “Brazzo” beamed with players and club management from the town hall balcony.

“Congratulations! See you next year,” said Munich Mayor Dieter Reiter to the successful Bayern teams at the short, official reception in the town hall. “We are incredibly happy that things went so well in our direction and that we can now feel the emotions in red and white,” said Thomas Müller in the ARD after the heart-stopping finale on the last match day and little sleep on Sunday night.

The Bayern men became champions for the 33rd time and the women for the fifth time, who took first place with an 11-1 win against Turbine Potsdam on Sunday.
