“It’s bitter”: Cup exit for VfL Wolfsburg after a mistake in the substitution

After a marathon negotiation lasting more than five hours, VfL Wolfsburg left the headquarters of the German Football Association as losers. The Bundesliga club was subsequently deprived of its 3-1 win in the DFB Cup at Preußen Münster due to a substitution error.
