Furious 1.FC Cologne keeps the class

1. FC Cologne will remain in the Bundesliga. The Rhinelanders won the relegation second leg against second division third-placed Holstein Kiel 5-1 (4-1) on Saturday. Thanks to the success, coach Friedhelm Funkel's team made up for Wednesday's 0-1 defeat and avoided the seventh Bundesliga relegation in the club's history.
