Hoeneß farewell: Bayern boss thanks for “wonderful years”

Uli Hoeneß fought back tears. The outgoing president bowed to thousands of members who celebrated him with thunderous and never-ending applause. “Thank you very much,” said the moved Hoeneß, who had to take a deep breath.
