Kovac wobbles: Bayern experience debacle in Frankfurt

The man of the evening was Sebastian Polter, who scored the late winning goal with a penalty kick in the 87th minute. This was preceded by a foul by the Belgian Dedryck Boyata on Christian Gentner in the penalty area; after studying the video, the penalty was finally given. With the triumph, Union collected important points in the fight to stay in the league and increased their lead over the relegation zone. Hertha remained winless for the third time in a row and is stuck in no man's land in the table.

Kovac wobbles: Bayern experience debacle in Frankfurt

Now things are getting really uncomfortable for Niko Kovac. The FC Bayern Munich coach suffered a devastating debacle at his former place of success at Eintracht Frankfurt and is likely to come under even greater criticism after already turbulent days.
