Schalke brings Baum – Naldo assistant coach

Manuel Baum is taking over at Bundesliga soccer club Schalke 04 as the successor to coach David Wagner, who has been made redundant. The 41-year-old's assistant is ex-professional Naldo. The Royal Blues announced this on Wednesday. The previous U18 coach at the German Football Association (DFB), who gained experience as a Bundesliga coach at FC Augsburg from 2016 to 2019, signed a two-year contract.
