Thomas Müller and the difficult farewell

Once again, a formerly shining star in the football sky is in the difficult transition phase that heralds the end of her career. Thomas Müller from FC Bayern Munich will probably try to get a few more playing days somewhere, because he probably doesn't see himself as a "supplementary player" for his Bayern team. Our columnist Sigi Heinrich therefore once again reminds us of Franz Beckenbauer's last years.

Maybe the sheikhs from Saudi Arabia could also lure people with a few petro-dollars. Müller in the team with Ronaldo, maybe Messi. In any case, the signs point to farewell and of course all stops are being pulled out once again to prevent the last of the Mohicans, the last real Bavarian, from actually running away.
