After 30 years, back at the goal: Liverpool are champions

With Liverpool winning the title on Thursday, a 30-year losing streak came to an end. The now dethroned defending champions Manchester City made the more than deserved triumph perfect. Because coach Pep Guardiola's team lost 1-2 at Chelsea on Thursday evening, Liverpool won their 19th championship title. On the way to the championship title, Liverpool broke a few records. No one in the Premier League has ever reached the championship as early as Klopp's team. On top of that, they had the best start to the season in Europe (61 points from 21 games) and the best points total across the season in 38 Premier League games (104 points).
