The emotional words were garnished with a black and white picture of Zidane and his brother. The background to Farid's death is not yet known.

Zinedine Zidane left Real Madrid's training camp after the sad news, but has since returned. The Real team held a minute's silence at the training camp in honor of the late Farid.
