Marko Arnautovic before moving to Milan

According to media reports, the Austrian national player Marko Arnautovic (34) is apparently in discussion with AC Milan. The attacker is one of sports director Paolo Maldini's preferred candidates.

The Viennese Arnautovic, who made his comeback in Serie A for Bologna on Monday after an injury break, is said to be according to the Roman daily newspaper La Repubblica are in contact with the 19-time Italian champion. It is said that the striker sees his time at Bologna as over due to differences with coach Thiago Motta.


Arnautovic was already under contract in Milan once - in the 2009/2010 season he appeared in just three Serie A games for Milan's city rivals Inter and was therefore part of the team that won the championship, cup and champions under coach José Mourinho that season League won. Now Arnautovic is said to be one of Paolo Maldini's dream players, who is responsible for sporting planning at Milan. Apparently the talks between Arnautovic and Milan are already well advanced.
