Next goal gala: Atalanta is approaching Bayern's record

Atalanta's attack-like offensive game was once again impressive, which led, among other things, to three goals within five minutes: Marten De Roon, the extremely strong Ruslan Malinovskiy and Duvan Zapata scored between the 25th and 30th minutes. Mario Pasalic had previously opened the scoring. The Croatian international completed his hat-trick in the second half. On the other hand, Ernesto Torregrossa and Nikolas Spalek could only provide cosmetic results and could not stop Brescia's free fall towards Serie B.

This brings Atalanta's tally to 93 goals this season. Only one team in all of Europe was even more accurate at times: FC Bayern Munich. The high-flyers from Serie A are likely to surpass the German champions' 100 goals, provided they are anywhere near as in a scoring mood in the remaining five games as they have been in recent weeks.
