Some are happy, others are annoyed

After the mistake on the last matchday against Inter, Napoli did not show any weakness against Sampdoria and continues to confidently lead the table. Victor Osimhen in the first half and Eljif Elmas shortly before the end of the game ensured the southern Italians deserved a 2-0 away win.

Things got particularly emotional before the game started. Sampdoria's players warmed up with a special jersey in memory of the recently deceased legend Gianluca Vialli and coach Dejan Stankovich held a jersey of the late Sinisa Mihajlovic during the minute's silence. Napoli got off to a good start early on and could have taken the lead after just a short time. Matteo Politano failed from the spot to Emil Audero after the league leader was awarded a generous penalty. Top scorer Victor Osihmen did much better in the 19th minute, converting a cross in perfect goalgetter style. The home team weakened themselves in the first half when Tomás Rincón had to leave the field with a red card. As a result, Napoli controlled the second half and scored the final point in the 82nd minute through Eljif Elmas. The 23-year-old safely converted a hand penalty.

Milan gives away the victory Later in the evening, the top game of the round took place between hosts Milan and AS Roma at San Siro in Milan. For a long time everything looked like a deserved victory for the Rossoneri, who dominated the game to the core and led 2-0 until shortly before the end. But shortly before the end everything turned out completely differently and Roma equalized the game within a few minutes. This means that Milan is losing important points in the title fight. The reigning champions started dominantly from the start and pinned Roma deep in their own half. The capital city team defended themselves skillfully and so it was a set piece situation that Milan took advantage of. Pierre Kalulu headed a corner powerfully into the net. The Milanese followed up and played an exemplary counterattack in the 77th minute. Tommaso Pobega just had to push in ahead of Rui Patricio. Roma showed morale and fought back bravely. First Roger Ibañez scored the next goal and in stoppage time Tammy Abraham actually equalized the game after a commotion in the penalty area. After the away defeat against Inter, Napoli promptly got back on the road to success against Sampdoria and were crowned autumn champions. The game was characterized by emotions and polemics. On the other hand, pursuers Milan stumbled dramatically in the top game.
