Naples is preparing for the big party

Now the time has come: on Thursday, or possibly as early as Wednesday evening, Napoli can secure their first championship title since the Maradone era. A city is already upside down.

Napoli's away game against Udinese on Thursday will be broadcast live at the home of the superior Italian football league leaders.

With six rounds to go, Napoli is 18 points ahead of pursuers Lazio and is therefore almost certain to be champions. In the 33rd round, the leader wants to use the second match point after the first was awarded on Sunday. The third title in the club's history could possibly be fixed beforehand.

Lazio has to win the home game against Sassuolo on Wednesday evening in order to remain in first place, at least theoretically.

The Napoli game against Udinese on Thursday will not only be watched by many visitors on TV at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, more than 10.000 fans will also be cheering on their team on site in Udine.
