Anyone who plays away has an advantage

3 games, 3 away wins. This is the result from Serie A Saturday. While champions Napoli are slowly but surely getting up to speed, Milan suffered a bitter setback at the San Siro. Inter won the Lombard duel with Atalanta.

A lively game that was influenced by the heavy rain in Bergamo ended up winning 2-1 to Inter. However, Atalanta stood up to the leaders until the last second and proved that they are rightly in the top third of Serie A. A penalty awarded by Atalanta goalkeeper Musso put Inter on track. In the hectic final phase, Toloi (Atalanta) saw a yellow-red card.

In the Campania derby between Salernitana and Napoli, the champions left the field as the deserved winner. The goals came early (Raspadori in the 13th minute) and late (Elmas after 82 minutes), but Napoli's triumph was never in danger. Salernitana coach Pippo Inzahi was shown a yellow card after protests. The former world-class striker still has to wait for his first win with the southern Italians. With 4 points, Salernitana is in last place in the Serie A table.

There was also pouring rain in Milan, where Milan met Udinese at home. The Friulians were in a relegation zone before the game, but they didn't hide. The brisk pressing was rewarded after 62 minutes when captain Pereyra converted a penalty (Adli had committed the “crime”). Milan couldn't make a decisive impact in the final phase and have now been waiting for a win for three games.
