It's hard to imagine what would have happened if Juventus had lost against Udinese on Sunday: Then the Bianconeri would have fallen back to 5th place in the table - with four games to go there would have been a horror scenario, i.e. no Champions League (only the first four qualify) , threatened. Although this specter has not been banished thanks to the 2-1 win over Udinese, the cards have certainly not gotten any worse. Udinese were 1-0 up until the final stages on Sunday, when Cristiano Ronaldo appeared. The Portuguese converted a penalty in the 83rd minute, canceling out Udinese's lead, scored by Molina in the 10th minute. A minute before the end, it was Ronaldo again who was in the right place after a Rabiot cross at the second post and scored to make it 2-1. For CR7 it was goals 26 and 27 in the current Serie A championship - that's a league record. Inter are champions With four games to go, Juventus is in third place in the table with 69 points, level on points with Atalanta and Milan. Napoli are lurking just two points behind in the unpopular fifth position. An exciting battle for the coveted Champions League places is looming.
