The golfers spring into action

The enthusiasm for the VSS/Raiffeisen Senior Golf Cup has been unbroken for 15 years. No wonder, because golf is healthy and regular play and social interaction with friends contribute positively to a good life. In the 15th season of the Golf Cup, golf fans are once again offered an extensive series. There are a total of ten different tournaments on the calendar. This year the kick-off will also take place at the Golf Club Lana. The senior golfers then take it all over the country. The program includes tournaments in Eppan, in the Passeier Valley, in St. Vigil, in the Badia Valley, in Reischach, in Petersberg and at the Karerpass. In addition, an official tournament will also be held outside the country's borders in Sarnonico. The final tournament “VSS/Raiffeisen Senior Golf Champions Trophy” at the Golf Club Petersberg will be held with its own ranking and all players who have taken part in a tournament in the series are eligible to take part. Following the final tournament, the overall winners of the series will also be awarded. “15 years of the VSS/Raiffeisen Senior Golf Cup is a great achievement for everyone involved and responsible. I wish all participants in this year’s season a nice game,” explains coordinator Paul Fiwickeler. There is great enthusiasm for golf in South Tyrol. The 2023th season of the “VSS/Raiffeisen Senior Golf Cup” will take place in 15. The first tournament will take place on May 4th in Lana and the final tournament will take place on September 14th at the Golf Club Petersberg.
