Nicola Boscariol visits Mühlbach

Since the founding of “Karate Mühlbach”, world champion Boscariol has been coming to Mühlbach at least once a year to bring the athletes up to date in technical and strategic terms and the trainers in the didactic and methodological areas. This support and support over the years has borne fruit that the karate school in the market town of Mühlbach can be proud of.

“It’s not necessarily the stronger who wins, but rather the one who makes fewer mistakes,” was one of the core ideas on which the two-day training program for young people and adults was based. Particularly physically demanding, Boscariol has understood how to point out the essentials of Kumite (= duel) to the athletes and to raise their understanding and skills to a new level through various training focuses. “We now need to build on this and deepen the training content in the coming months so that automatisms form that then make the difference,” says the trainer duo Martin Pezzei and Silke Marcher.

Train with the best Why do so many exceptional athletes come to Mühlbach? The reason is that with “Karate Mühlbach” not only those who take part in competitions should train with the best; Rather, this opportunity should be open to all athletes. In this way, the entire team grows – and you can see the fruits! Figures for “Karate Mühlbach” A total of 6 children train in the two children's groups (9 to 60 year olds), of which just over half (34) are girls. 23 young people train in the youth group (10 to 13 year olds), with more than half (16) being girls.

The ratio is only different for adults (14 years and older): of the 27 athletes, 10 are women at Karate Mühlbach. Overall, of the 110 athletes, women are in the majority with 60 members.
