Georg Righi (Neumarkt) took part in the men's sprint from South Tyrol. Despite a good performance, the Passirian couldn't do anything against the Austrian Sasa Igumanovic (0:2). In the women's category, Adele Ainhauser (Tirol Mutspitz) played on an equal footing with world number one Corinna Kastner from Germany, but was the unluckier bowler in the “Sudden Victory” (19:21). The women's world championship title was won by Poland's Beata Wlodarczyk, who beat Brigita Strelec (Slovenia). Bronze went to the French Gwennaelle Adler and the Bosnian Tatjana Zlojutro. In the men's category, Serbian superstar Vilmos Zavarko prevailed against Frenchman Frederic Koell. Pavel Jirousek (Czech Republic) and Igor Kovacic (Serbia) were happy about the bronze medal.

The World Championships in Novigrad continue on Thursday with the second round of the individual competition. Marion Thaler will play against Romanian Anna Gyeresi at 13.40:17.10 p.m. At XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. Annemarie Innerhofer (Vöran Blecherne) meets Hungarian Anita Mehesz.
