Winning streak for Filip Schenk continues

Filip Schenk (AVS Brixen) was the only athlete to climb to the top in the qualifying round. In the final he won by a clear margin and thus further extended his lead in the overall standings. In its U18 male category, the Italian youth national team achieved a double victory, with Pietro Biagini from Genoa in second place. Felix Keim (AVS Meran) was 19°.

David Oberprantacher from Passeir showed a great performance. He was clearly able to qualify for the final. There he ultimately climbed just two holds away from a podium place and came an ungrateful fourth place. Juri Unterkofler (AVS Meran) was 19° in this category. The young athlete Jonathan Kiem from Merano also made it to the final. He positioned himself in ninth place.

Elisabeth Lardschneider (AVS Val Gardena) was the only Italian athlete to reach the final in the U16 F category. She came ninth. In the higher women's category, the Roman Laura Rogora was completely convincing. She clearly won. Jana Messner (AVS Brixen) was 15°.

The next advance competition in the Youth European Cup will take place on the 24th-25th. June in Uster (Switzerland). For now, all athletes will meet at the Italian Cup Lead on June 18th in Bruneck.

Winning streak for Filip Schenk continues

Filip Schenk from Val Gardena from AVS Brixen impressively showed his competitors that the victory at the first Youth European Cup in Imst was not a stroke of luck. The young climbing talent also won the second stage in Dornbirn (Austria) last weekend.
