South Tyroleans and Trentinos climb in Mezzolombardo

The competition in Mezzolombardo was the sixth of a total of seven Junior Cup competitions. The small town of Mezzolombardo is a stronghold of speed climbing. In the U10, U12 and U16 male categories, the podium places were exclusively occupied by South Tyrolean athletes. The young Bettina Dorfmann from AVS Brixen clearly won in the U10. She also won in the other disciplines (lead and boulder) and thus took the undisputed overall ranking ahead of Leah Bickhove (Arcoclimbing) and Veronika Cagol from St. Pauls. Alex Pichler (AVS Meran) won the boys speed competition. The overall U10 ranking was won by David Grasl (AVS Passeier) ahead of Alex Pichler and third-placed Moritz Psenner (AVS St. Pauls).

South Tyroleans and Trentinos climb in Mezzolombardo

The second regional speed competition of the season took place in the new speed climbing stadium in Mezzolombardo on May 6th and 7th. The South Tyrolean athletes climbed to the top again.
