3rd Ladurner Grand Prix in Lana and Bolzano

Annika Oberrauch particularly shone among the U16 girls. The woman from Eppan won the 300m hurdles in an excellent 46.80 seconds, four seconds ahead of Sarah Gasser from SG Eisacktal and Hannah Insam (51.51). The latter took revenge in the high jump, where she was able to hold her own with a jump of 1.52 meters, just ahead of Oberrauch. However, the victory over 80m went to Anas Veronesi Vedovelli. The 14-year-old from the South Tyrol Team Club won in 10.73 seconds and was five hundredths ahead of Denise Pellicini. Her teammate Corinna Adami came third.

Among the boys of the same age, ASV Lana dominated. In the high jump he celebrated a double victory with David Pircher and Patrick Laimer, the latter also won the 300m hurdles and the discus throw. In addition, Christian Stablum, also from ASV Lana, won both the triple jump and the shot put.

In the U14 age group, Lena Göller from ASC celebrated victory over 600m. In the high jump, Lisa Palla from Kaltern and Marie Burger from SSV Brixen held their own with 1.40 meters, while Ivan Domenici won the boys' jump over 600m.

Thomas Schiffregger with a new record

The focus of interest in Lana on Saturday was also the older young talents who took part in the supporting competitions. Thomas Schiffregger achieved an absolute top result. The 19-year-old from SSV Bruneck improved his personal best in the long jump by an impressive 23 cm and increased it to 7.24 m.

The first children's athletics festival also took place in Bolzano on Sunday. Almost 1 children in the U170 and U10 age categories took part in some exciting team competitions in the state capital. There were no winners, times and distances didn't count when it came to giving the youngest a taste for athletics.
