340 starters at the village run in Verdings – the results

After the successful premiere last year, the ASV Verdings team around Tobias Kritzinger organized an excellent VSS/Raiffeisen village run again this year. The approximately 340 runners clearly felt comfortable in the town of 500 people and especially on the beautiful panoramic route.

From a sporting perspective, the performance of Lara Vorhauser from Grasstein was particularly impressive. The 18-year-old runner won the ranking in the female youth A category, but at the same time she was also faster than the women in the different age groups who started at the same time. Vorhauser needed exactly 10:14,6 minutes to cover 2.700 meters, meaning she was ultimately almost 35 seconds faster than women's winner Maria Moser from Sarntal.

Among the men, David Andersag from ASC Berg was in a class of his own. He won after 5.400 meters in a time of 18:18 minutes and a lead of almost half a minute over Martin Mayerhofer from SG Eisacktal. Third place went to last year's winner Luis Schenk from the Gherdeina Runners.

The next tour stop of the VSS/Raiffeisen city and village running series is the Haiderseelauf in St. Valentin auf der Haide on May 25th. Then the VSS/Raiffeisen state championship titles will also be awarded in the upper Vinschgau at the same time.

Around 340 runners took part in the third tour stop of the VSS/Raiffeisen city and village running series in Verdings. In the end, Lara Vorhauser from ASV Sterzing and David Andersag from ASC Berg were the fastest of the day on the wonderful panoramic course.
