4 medals at the U20 and U23 Italian Championships

After long jumper Destiny Nkeonye's second place on Saturday and the bronze medal on Friday from Bolzano pole vaulter Nicolò Fusaro, another local athlete made people sit up and take notice today. The Lanan U20 pole vaulter Nathalie Kofler once again showed her skills in the final and crossed 3.80 m. However, she then failed three times to break her own South Tyrolean national record of 3.90 m. The athlete from Verona won the duel between the South Tyrolean and Giada Pozzato, crossing 3.90 m in the last attempt. Francesca Zafrani also climbed onto the podium with 3.70 m.
