Andersag and Bazzoni were the fastest at the meeting in Merano

The 25-year-old Andersag won the AS Meran meeting in 19.06.98 minutes and improved her best time over 5000 m by nine seconds. The German Denise Moser took second place, 15 seconds behind Andersag, while Tamara Mariaangela Pante from the Rennerclub Vinschgau came third. In the men's race, victory went to Gianmarco Bazzoni from Bolzano. In 2:15 minutes he relegated Francesco Milella (43.23:16) and local hero Alex Holtz (03.88:17) to second and third place.

A 1000 m run also took place in Merano. In the general class, Lobna Saardi from Brescia won the women's category and Marco Anesi from Trento won the men's category. Nicolas Monese, board member of the South Tyrolean Athletics Association, came second. Nia Nardon won among the U16 girls, while Paolo Rossi from organizer AS Meran won among the boys of the same age. In the U14 category, Sara Ugolini and Ivan Domenici from Bolzano were at the top.

Andersag and Bazzoni were the fastest at the meeting in Merano

Natalie Andersag from ASC Berg and Gianmarco Bazzoni from Athletic Club 96 Bozen won the long-distance meeting in Merano on Holy Saturday. Andersag was able to hold his own in the women's 5000m run ahead of the German Denise Moser, Bazzoni defeated Francesco Milella.
