Anna Pedevilla and Andreas Reiterer win the Skymarathon in Tiers

Anna Pedevilla from St. Vigil in Enneberg (5:34.29,1) and Andreas Reiterer from Hafling (4:35.33,9) won, each with a new course record on the 45-kilometer route, which has an altitude of 2.980 meters. The winners of the short route, which leads from the Grasleitenpass over the Tschamintal back to Tiers, are Susi Lell from Allgäu and Ludwig Andres from Prad. “This run is unique. The most beautiful trail run I've ever run. I am overjoyed and thank the organizers,” said winner Anna Pedevilla. Andreas Reiterer's comment after the race: “Great, I'm speechless and overjoyed with my performance. I compete a lot, including in international races, but this one is great if someone loves technical trails like I do.” OC boss Bernhard Rieder is visibly relieved that the second edition took place in wonderful weather and without any major incidents to the satisfaction of the athletes and organizers: “I am overjoyed with how the race went and would like to thank the over 200 volunteers whose commitment such an event is not possible, the OK team, which has been working for months, and the sponsors for their good cooperation and support. We have reached the maximum number of registrations, which makes us very happy. 500 starters is and remains our limit. The Rosengarten Schlern Skymarathon will always remain small but great and we are already looking forward to the 3rd edition on July 13, 2019.”
