Athletes impress at the Ladurner Grand Prix in Reischach

Annika Oberrauch particularly shone among the U16 girls. The woman from Eppan won the 300 m hurdles in an excellent 46.44 seconds and improved her previous best performance by 36 hundredths. Among the boys of the same age, however, the athletes from SV Lana dominated. David Pircher celebrated a double victory in the high jump and javelin throw, while Christian Stablum won the shot put.

In the U14 age group, Marie Burger from SSV Brixen showed a very good performance. The 13-year-old competed in the 60m hurdles in 9,59 seconds, three hundredths faster than her previous best time. For the boys, Jakob Boi celebrated a double victory in the 60 m hurdles and the high jump.

Valentina Cavalleri with a new record over 200 m The focus of interest in Reischach on Sunday was also the supporting competitions for the general class. Valentina Cavalleri achieved an absolute top result. The 21-year-old from Innichen improved her personal best over 200m by an impressive 25 hundredths and increased it to 24,94 seconds. Thomas Schiffregger also made people sit up and take notice in his home race after a long injury break. The 19-year-old from SSV Bruneck achieved 7,20 m in the long jump and missed his personal best by just 4 cm.
