Baden-Württemberg wins Brixia Meeting - South Tyrol 14.

On a rainy day, two local athletes made it onto the podium. The 16-year-old pole vaulter Nathalie Kofler from Lana took bronze and also set her personal best with 3,60 meters. The victory went to Maria Gherca from Lazio, who reached 3,80 m. The Slovenian Lara Zupanic came second with 3,70 m.

Alberto Masera won the second South Tyrolean medal. The Bolzano high jumper from Athletic Club 96 also took third place with 2,00 meters. Masera also set its previous best performance with this brand. Victory went to Giacomo Belli from Tuscany with an impressive 2,13 m, while the Piedmontese Lorenzo Pusceddu came in second with 2,00 meters.

100 m sprinter Ira Harrasser finished eighth in 12.32 seconds. The 16-year-old from Pusteria improved her personal best by two hundredths. Patrick Baù also achieved a top placement. Over 400 m, the SG Eisacktal athlete took sixth place with his new personal best time of 49.54 seconds. One of South Tyrol's great hopes, Anna Menz from Meran, did not get past ninth place in the triple jump. Miriam Ploner from the South Tyrol Team Club also had to settle for 400th place in the 9 m hurdles.

The top performances at this year's Brixia meeting were Lorenzo Paissan from Trento with 10.53 seconds over 100 m and Edoardo Scotti from CUS Parma with 47,07 seconds over 400 m.
