Bazzoni and Thaler dominate Ultner Höfelauf

This time the focus was once again on the supreme discipline over 17,9 kilometers. As in the previous year, Gianmarco Bazzoni from Bolzano from Athletic Club 96 clearly set the tone. With a time of 1:11.23 hours, he was over two minutes faster than Rudi Brunner from Meran (1:13.34), who narrowly held his own in the final sprint against Luca Clara from the sports team. Christian Stuffer came in 4th (1:15.56)

Among the women, Edeltraud Thaler from Lana was in a class of her own. The runner from Telmekom Team Südtirol crossed the finish line after 1.24.51:7.27:XNUMX hours and distanced second-placed Heike Torggler from Meran by a full XNUMX:XNUMX minutes. Christine Zemmer from LG Schlern came third.

Alexander Rabensteiner (SG Eisacktal) and Johanna von Dellemann (South Tyrol Running Club) won the short distance of 8,4 kilometers. Rabensteiner won in 30,53 minutes, ahead of Georg Premstaller from Sarner (31:34), while von Dellemann was able to repeat her victory from last year with a time of 36.30 minutes ahead of Sarah Gallmetzer (37.01).

The race in Ulten was also for a good cause, as 2 euros went to the rural emergency fund for each participant.
