Mountain running: Rosy Pattis is Masters world champion

Italy won a total of 33 medals at the 18th edition of the Masters Mountain Running World Championships, which took place in Zelezniki, Slovenia. The “Azzurri” won 19 gold, 10 silver and 4 bronze, making them the most successful nation ahead of Germany (15 medals) and hosts Slovenia (11).
