Christian Obrist in Trento with a new best time of the year

Obrist took part in the 1500m title in Rovereo, but dropped out of the race 300m before the finish. In Trento he started over 800 m and was the only participant to stay under the 1.50 mark. He set his new best time for the year and was 55 hundredths faster than two weeks ago in Nembro (1:49.79).

Obrist relegated Gabriele Bizotto, who finished third behind Lukas Rifesser at the Italian Championships over 800 m at the weekend, to second place. Riccardo Tamassia came third. The Sarner U30 runner Ulrich Spiess from the South Tyrolean Running Club (18st with a good 21:1.57,63 minutes) and Daniel Hackhofer from Pusteria (26th) also made it into the top XNUMX.
