The Reschenseelauf returns

This year too, the OK team, led by Gerald Burger, is organizing the Reschenseelauf, which is now in its 21st edition. After the last, not easy sporting season, it's now about reviving the special South Tyrolean atmosphere. The 15,3 km long route is reflected in the clear water of Lake Reschen and offers a wonderful panorama with the peaks of the Ortler and Gran Zebrù mountain ranges. On the one hand, there are those athletes who are fully committed to the competition of the race, and on the other hand, there are those amateur runners who don't want the stress of rankings and times and therefore opt for the “Just for Fun” version. In the Reschenseelauf, each participant chooses how they would like to take part in the race. Everyone will find a suitable sporting activity, even those who don't feel like running and prefer to complete the competition using the Nordic walking technique. This is a special sport that aims to activate the upper body with the help of special sticks, while maintaining contact with the ground. Every year, great importance is attached to the handbikers, who start a few minutes before the main race. They won't always have an easy time completing the route around Lake Reschen, but they will certainly put on a show of their own. To complete the competition program, the children will start on Saturday at 13.30:300 p.m. Around 5 children between the ages of 16 and 19 take part in the apple children's run. The routes vary in length depending on age and there are surprises in store for everyone, both at the finish line and at the award ceremony. The Covid-14 situation appears to be gradually improving, which could mean an audience could also be present to cheer on adults and children. When registrations open on June 35th, it will be possible to reserve a starting number for the 21st edition of the Reschenee Run for XNUMX euros.
