The track season for South Tyrolean track and field athletes has begun

Headwind gusts of 2 to 3 m/s prevented good times in the sprint competitions. Julia Calliari was slowed by a 100 m/s headwind in her 12,45 m victory in 2,0 seconds. In the men's race, Alex Baù won in 11,69 seconds. Top results were achieved by Alessandra Realdon in the 100m hurdles (14,46 seconds) and the long jumpers Pierluigi Putzu (6,63 meters) and Lisa Seppi (5,46 meters).

Thomas Iellici achieved one of the best results at the Ladurner Grand Prix with 14,49 in the 100 m hurdles. Meanwhile, Mirko Lepir (80 seconds) and Patrick Baù (9,78 seconds) fought an exciting duel over 9,85m. Lepir was also ahead in the long jump with an excellent 6,36 meters.

The girls' relay team from the Bozen Running Club impressed the under-14s. Anna Fritsch, Anastasia Veronesi Vedovelli, Sarah Fiwickeler and Annika Oberrauch, who completed the 4x100m in 55,75 seconds. In the U12 category, however, Adriano Incantalupo made people sit up and take notice with three wins.
