EM Amsterdam: Kirchler 10th in the discus final
The European Athletics Championships ended on Saturday evening in Amsterdam with an excellent 10th place in the discus throw for Hannes Kirchler. The 37-year-old from Meran threw 60.18 m. It is questionable whether this result and this European Championship placement are enough for a ticket to the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
