Family races conclude the season

No fewer than 280 runners tackled the 6,8 km long running course in good running weather. There were shorter distances for the youngsters. After a little more than 20 minutes the first ones reached the finish line. With a final spurt, the 29-year-old series winner Gianmarco Bazzoni (21.37 min.) prevailed against young hopeful Daniel Pattis (21.38 min.). Young runners also lined up in the other places. The 17-year-old Raphael Joppi came third (22.33 min.), fourth was Simon Mair, who is one year older (22.35 min.).

Petra Picher (25.29 min.) from Laas prevailed in the women's race. Behind her, Mirella Bergamo (25.51 min.) and Johanna von Dellemann (25.52) took the other places.

Family races conclude the season

The Überetscher pair race in Kaltern was the last road race of the 2016 season. The 280 athletes took it easy in this race and also took the opportunity to end the season with a sports festival.
