Black athlete attacked: “That’s absurd”

On Monday night, Italian athlete Daisy Osakue was attacked in Moncalieri in the northern Italian region of Piedmont. There is now a risk that the 22-year-old with Nigerian roots will not be able to take part in the European Championships in Berlin. A racist motive is suspected as the reason for the attack.
