Grand Prix in Brixen: young talents shine

Host Lea Perathoner and Lena Trenkwalder celebrated a double victory in the U16 girls. The athlete from SG Eisacktal won over 80 m and the long jump, Trenkwalder from Sterzing was at the top over 1000 m and in the 4x100 m relay. Among the boys of the same age, Frederic Schöpf from Lana was in a class of his own in the 80 m sprint, the 100 m hurdles (a strong 13.86 seconds) and the high jump. There were also double victories for the two SAB figureheads, Stefano Rossi and Andrea Bassani. The U14 talents also impressed in Brixen. Maria Gogl from ASV Vipiteno won three gold medals (ball, ball, relay). Jordi Targa did even better for the boys. The talent from the Bolzano club CSS Leonardo da Vinci secured four daily victories, over 60 m as well as in the high and long jump and in the 4x100 m relay. Euan De Nigro with top performance The general class athletes competed in the 100 m, 1500 m, 400 m hurdles and discus events as part of the Ladurner GP. Euan De Nigro in particular showed his best side. The athlete from SG Eisacktal, who is trained by Reinhold Rogen, timed the 1500 m in 3:46.92 minutes. He narrowly missed Lukas Rifesser's 18-year-old South Tyrolean record (3.46,71). At the same time, it is the fastest season in Italy. The young man from Brixen has been part of the Carabinieri sports group since this year and is also an excellent triathlete. This year, in his second year of juniors, De Nigro has to decide whether he will dedicate himself to athletics or triathlon. Petra Nardelli from Eggen, on the other hand, won the 100 m sprint in 12.22 seconds, Lara Vorhauser from Vipiteno won the 1500 m. Annika Oberrauch from Eppan was at the top of the 400 m hurdles, and host Karoline Puntaier clearly won the discus throw with 32.09 m.
