Haller and Bazzoni win the sixth VSS race in Mals

In the men's field, Gianmarco Bazzoni from the Bolzano club Athletic Club 96 was unbeatable. He covered the 5000 meters in a time of 15.30 minutes and relegated Thomas Hellrigl (16.09) and Gabriel Karnutsch (16.19) to second and third place. In the women's category, Regina Haller (Full Sport Meran) secured victory with a time of 11.48 minutes. Along with second-placed Annemarie Schöpf (11.59), she was the only woman to stay under twelve minutes over the 3000 meters. Inge Giuliani (12.04) completed the podium in third place. The seventh stage of the VSS city and village runs will take place on August 23rd in Avelengo. This year the running series comprises a total of ten stages.

Haller and Bazzoni win the sixth VSS race in Mals

On Saturday, the sixth stage of the VSS running series took place on the athletics track in Mals. Almost 250 athletes in 25 categories took on the race in adverse weather conditions.
