Hannes Kirchler 9th at the “Golden Gala” in Rome

The 34th edition of the international meeting “Golden Gala”, fourth stage of the Diamond League IAAF, opened on Thursday in Rome with the discus throw. The only South Tyrolean participant took part in the first competition: Hannes Kirchler from Meran had to make do with ninth place with a modest 59.51 m. The victory went to Olympic champion and world champion Robert Harting from Germany with 68.36 m.
