Hannes Kirchler 9th in the European Cup with 59,54 m

Hannes Kirchler showed a strong performance at the 17th Winter Throwing European Cup, which took place on Saturday in Las Palmas, Spain. The 38-year-old from Merano, who was crowned Italian discus champion for the 12th time in Rieti just last week, took ninth place with 59,54 m. The victory went to the Austrian Lukas Weißhaidinger.
