Hannes Kirchler achieved seventh best distance at the European Team Championships

At the European Team Championships in Braunschweig, Hannes Kirchler achieved a top ten result in his discipline, discus throwing. The 35-year-old from Meran reached 61,14 meters and came seventh in his fourth participation in the European Team Championships. Seventh place also went to the Italian team after 40 competitions, which meant they managed to stay in the Super League.
