Hannes Kirchler in Rome also ran

Hannes Kirchler from Merano had to settle for eleventh place with a modest 57,46 m. The victory went to Fedrick Dacres from Jamaica with 68,51 m. Kirchler traveled to Rome with high hopes after the 39-year-old from the Carabinieri sports group achieved 63,03 for the first time in almost two years with 63 m in Taquinia three weeks ago -meter mark cracked.
