The Italian discus throwers were able to showcase themselves at the 3rd edition of the Silvano Simeon Trophy in Tarquinia in the province of Viterbo. Giovanni Faloci won with 62,50 m, ahead of Hannes Kirchler from Meran, who threw 61,91 m on his season debut.
