Heat in Tokyo: Competitions before moving to Sapporo

After the disturbing images from the World Athletics Championships in Doha, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is reacting to the impending heat at the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo: The marathon and walking competitions are to be moved to Sapporo in the northern prefecture of Hokkaido. There are lower temperatures there, in Tokyo there are fears of over 35 degrees and high humidity.
