In October: The Bozen City Trail takes place

As in previous years, the organizers offer participants three routes to choose from - with different lengths and varying levels of difficulty. At 27 kilometers and almost 1200 meters in altitude, the Bozen City Trail is the most demanding route. “From the start on Waltherplatz in Bolzano, the athletes first go over the Talferwiesen, then along the Oswald Promenade, and finally up a beautiful forest path towards Ritten. From there we descend again towards Bolzano, we continue to the Guntschna Promenade and then to the finish back at Waltherplatz,” explain the OC managers Roberta Agosti and Andreas Daum (Bozen Tourist Office), Dorothea Kelderer (SC Neugries) and Sonja Abrate (South Tyrol Ecological Institute) outlines the route. The Bozen City Run is 16 kilometers long with an altitude difference of around 600 meters. The steep climb up the Ritten is omitted here, otherwise the route is identical to that of the Bozen City Trail. The Bozen City Enjoy charity run through parts of the old town and along the promenade, which covers six kilometers, is intended for connoisseurs. Security plays an important role The organizers attach great importance to adhering to the necessary safety measures required by the current situation surrounding Covid-19. “We appeal to all participants to strictly adhere to our hygiene and safety concept. This means that the distance must be maintained. If this cannot be adhered to, a mask must be worn. The obligation to wear a mask also applies when entering closed rooms, for example when starting numbers are handed out, or as soon as the runners enter their starting block. And of course, wash and disinfect your hands frequently,” emphasize Agosti, Daum, Kelderer and Abrate.

In October: The Bozen City Trail takes place

Excellent news for all running enthusiasts: The Bozen City Trail will take place on Sunday, October 18th. This was recently decided by the organizing committee consisting of the Bozen Tourist Office, SC Neugries and the Ökoinstitut.
