Italian Championship: Christian Obrist and Hannes Kirchler take bronze

This weekend the Italian General Class Indoor Championships were held in Padua. 500 athletes from over 100 clubs took part. At the same time, throwers' championship fights took place in Lucca di Winter. The South Tyrolean athletes won three bronze medals: two with Christian Obrist in the 800 and 1500 meters and one with Hannes Kirchler in the discus. In addition, Leonardo Dei Tos from Vittorio Veneto, who competes for the Bolzano club Athletic Club 96, was crowned Italian walking champion.
