Jbari and Pircher overall winners of the Top7 running series

In ideal running conditions, over 300 athletes took part in the last event of the Top7 running series in the Lower Country. In the men's category, the Moroccan Khalid Jbari, who competes for the Athletic Club Bozen, was once again unbeatable. Jbari prevailed in 1:23.12 hours, relegating Günther Mair from Rasen and Gabriel Karnutsch from Mölten to the other two podium places. Georg Brunner from Puster was fourth, 2.22 minutes behind Jbari, who celebrated his second victory in today's Top7 series after Meran in Branzoll. He also came second twice in Kaltern and Sand in Taufers.

First win of the season for Petra Pircher in the Top7 race series In the women's field, Petra Pircher and Edeltraud Thaler had a great fight, in which Pircher came out on top. The woman from Lasa reached the finish after 1:23.13 hours and was just over a minute ahead of Thaler. Johanna von Dellemann completed the podium in third place. For Pircher it was the first win of the season in the Top7 running series after second places at the Reschenseelauf and the Soltn Half Marathon in Jenesien. Roland Ruepp was able to prevail among the handbikers. The 50-year-old exceptional athlete left Karl Tappeiner (39.10) and Alfred Widmer (44.07) behind in 45.17 minutes.

Jbari and Pircher overall winners of the Top7 running series

The Moroccan Khalid Jbari and Petra Pircher from Lasa triumphed in the 22nd edition of the half marathon of the three municipalities in Branzoll and thus also took the overall ranking of the prestigious Top7 series.
