Youth Regional Championship: All title winners at a glance

The South Tyrolean athletes performed well, especially in Reischach, but top results failed to materialize. U16 local hero Alexa Schneider prevailed on her home course in the 80m hurdles, long jump and with the SSV Bruneck Swedish relay team. Her teammate Hannah Thaler (high jump, relay) also won two titles. The Lanan shot putter Stephanie Schöpf, hammer thrower Nicole Castlunger from SAF Bozen and 300 m ace Hanna Pichler from the South Tyrol Team Club also celebrated victories. Among the boys, Maximilian Springeth from SAB was in a class of his own in the high and long jump with 1.80 and 6.17 m respectively. The Bolzano club CSS Leonardo da Vinci won the Swedish relay. In the U14 girls, Springeth's teammate Sarah Peroni was at the top of the winner's podium three times. The woman from Bolzano won the 60 m sprint and the high jump, and she also won the 4x100 m relay. Long jumper Sophie Seehauser from ASV Vipiteno achieved 4.41 m, local hero Smeraldie Desamour reached 10.75 m in the shot put. Only a few local athletes were able to showcase themselves in Arco. Annalisa Goffi from Val Gardena won the U16 javelin throw with 34.26 m, and SG Eisacktal won the 4x100 m relay. For the boys, Frederic Schöpf from SV Lana achieved 38.68 m in the javelin throw. U14 high jumper Manuel Lorenzon, ball thrower Stefano Rossi and walker Maximilian Marafioti, all three from the SAB, won the regional championship title in their disciplines.
